Good buyOct 15, 2009
By D. Tsai Cheaper than the one in the store and anywhere else online even if you count in the shipping fee. Quality is good in general. Nothing to complain about so far.

Works good, unless you need to unplug it...Jun 27, 2011
By gamerboy64 If you are making a permanent network and need a few cost effective cables get these! If you think you will need to unhook the cables or anything you may want to look elsewhere...
PROS: +works at expected speeds +great length for going across a living room or computer lab. +no snag end protects the ends if being pulled through a wall or tight space
CONS: -very difficult to unhook from the ethernet card (and I have tried it on 2 laptops, a desktop an xbox 360 and a ps3 with the same result on all) -minimal shielding means if you're going over florescent lighting or past live power you may lose data often.
Overall it gets a 3/5 because it does work good for the casual computer user and it's really affordable but if you really know about computers you'll see a few flaws that would have been easy to remedy pre-production.

Works great for the money!Nov 30, 2010
By Ken Ross I don't get the negative reviews; I pulled this cable through 4 wall sections with no damage or connector looseness, what so ever. Works just fine.

Buyer BewareMay 13, 2011
By Salty The overall rating of this product was good, so I was both disappointed and surprised to find that the cable didn't work.
Upon close examination of the photos on the sale page, I realized that this is not a single product. If you closely examine the photos of the item show at least 3 different products. And the one that they shipped me was a 4th and cheaper looking version.
The text printed on the side says "Global Link Network Patch Cable 5e 4pr-etl tia/eia-568b". The plastic filling is irregular and shows bubbles. The plastic is extremely soft and has an odd smell. Did I mention that the cable didn't work? There's no way this meets 5e standards.
I ordered 2 other cables at the same time of different lengths. This one, sold by: fastvibes, was the only one that didn't work. The best quality one was sold by: Amamax.
If I see another cable for sale by Amamax I might buy it, but otherwise, based on my experience and the reviews, buying a network cable from this page is a crapshoot- not worth it. Amazon has some QA/QC issues to work on here.

Worked great! Easy to plug in and my picture quality is good. I would recommend this product. The price was worth it too.
